Privacy Policy

How Go Motion collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you create videos.

Last updated: 2026-10-23

This Privacy Policy explains how Go Motion ("Go Motion", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit our website or use the Go Motion studio to create videos (the "Service"). If you have a question about it, write to support@gomotion-ai.app.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your email address, name and profile picture when you sign up with email or sign in with Google or GitHub.
  • Your content: topics, scripts, articles, voiceover recordings, images and other files you upload, the YouTube links you paste as style references, and the projects, scenes, captions and videos created from them.
  • Support messages: what you send us in support tickets or by email, including attachments.
  • Payment details: purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive the order, amount, currency and payment status, but never your full card number.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, jobs run, credit transactions, and error and performance logs.
  • Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system and language.
  • Cookies: see "Cookies and analytics" below.

How we use information

  • To create your account, sign you in and keep your projects available to you.
  • To run the jobs you request: writing scripts, finding footage, generating narration and captions, rendering and exporting videos.
  • To process payments, keep your credit balance and send receipts and service messages.
  • To answer support requests and investigate failed jobs.
  • To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse of free credits, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your projects to train our own AI models.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (running the Service), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Service), your consent (optional analytics cookies, where consent is required) and legal obligations.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run Go Motion, and only what each task needs:

  • Hosting and storage: Cloudflare hosts the Service and stores media files; our database provider stores account and project records.
  • Payments: Stripe processes payments and handles card details under its own privacy policy.
  • AI model providers: services such as OpenRouter and fal receive the text, audio or images a job needs (for example a script line to narrate or a recording to transcribe) and return the result. We do not send them your email address or payment details.
  • Transcripts and references: Supadata and the YouTube API Services are used to read public information and transcripts of YouTube videos you paste as references.
  • Stock footage libraries: Pexels, Pixabay, Unsplash, NASA, Internet Archive and Wikimedia Commons receive search terms derived from your script, not your personal details.
  • Sign-in and email: Google or GitHub when you choose to sign in with them, and an email delivery provider for account and service emails.
  • Analytics: analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Plausible, when enabled.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights, safety or property of Go Motion, our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

YouTube API Services

Go Motion uses YouTube API Services to look up public YouTube videos you reference. We do not access your YouTube account. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy, and use of these features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies that the Service needs to work, such as the cookie that keeps you signed in and the one that remembers your language. When analytics are enabled, analytics cookies or similar technologies help us count visits and see which pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the studio needs the sign-in cookie to work.

How long we keep information

  • Account details and projects are kept while your account is active.
  • When you delete a project or file, it is removed from the studio right away and its stored files are deleted from storage shortly after.
  • When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information and content within 30 days, except records we must keep, such as payment and tax records, or information needed to resolve disputes or prevent fraud.
  • Logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.

How we protect information

Connections to the Service use HTTPS. Your uploads and rendered videos are kept in private storage and opened through short-lived signed links. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires.

International transfers

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for these transfers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents may request to know and delete their personal information; we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email support@gomotion-ai.app from the address on your account. We reply within 30 days and will not treat you differently for using your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Go Motion is for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the studio before it takes effect.
